Introduction

Nowadays supply chain management covers the design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities to create net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide logistics, synchronising supply with demand and measuring performance globally. The course aims to provide an analytical problem-solving approach in Logistics and Supply Chain Management for people already working in the field as well as those who are intending to pursue a career in this profession.

Eligibility

 ·       Obtained at least 2 GCE A-Level passes including Mathematics and *English; OR

·       Obtained International Baccalaureate Diploma (at least 24 points) or other equivalent pre-university certifications; OR

·       Completion of GSTM Diploma or equivalent; OR

·       NUS High School Diploma; OR

·       Polytechnic Diploma (e.g. Diploma in Accounting/ Business/ Management/ Logistics and Supply Chain Management/ IT/ Computing/ Hospitality/ Psychology); OR

·       Other PEI qualification (e.g. Diploma in Accounting/ Business/ Management/I.T./ Logistics and Supply Chain Management / Computing/ Hospitality/ Psychology that is equivalent to GSTM’s Diploma) will be assessed on a case by case basis; OR

·       Matured student:  At least 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experiences will be considered.

 

English Language Requirement: 

·       *A pass in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or IELTS 5.0 and or equivalent; OR 

·      Completed a prior Diploma or equivalent where the medium of instruction is English

Pathway

Graduate who wish to further studies in this filed may apply for Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management awarded by GSTM. 

Employability

Graduates of this Specialist Diploma will be equipped with the  solid foundation in  Logistics and Supply Chain Management which enable them able to pursue a career in the Logistics and Supply Chain world (e.g. Junior Supply Chain  Executive, Logistics Assistant or to progress in the current areas or additional knowledge to excel in the workplace.  It also helps to you gain confidence and support a career change and get ready for further study in GSTM.
