Eligibility

 
 Academic Requirement: 
  • Obtained at least 2 GCE A-Level passes, including Mathematics and *English; OR
  • Obtained International Baccalaureate Diploma (at least 24 points) or other equivalent pre-university certifications; OR
  • Completion of GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Hospitality and Tourism Management) or GSTM (Specialized in Event Management) or GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Events, Hospitality and Tourism Management), GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Business Management) or GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Logistics and Supply Chain Management) or  GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Building Surveying-Facilities) or equivalent; OR
  • NUS High School Diploma; OR
  • Polytechnic Diploma (e.g. Diploma in Accounting/ Business/ Management/ IT/ Computing/ Hospitality/ Psychology); OR
  • Other PEI qualifications (e.g. Diploma in Accounting/ Business/ Management/ IT/ Computing/ Hospitality/ Psychology that is equivalent to GSTM’s Diploma) will be assessed on a case-by-case basis; OR
  • Matured student:  At least 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience will be considered.

English Language Requirement: 

  • A pass in English at GCE' O' Level or Equivalent; OR 
  • IELTS 5.5 and or equivalent; OR 
  • Completed a prior Diploma or equivalent where the medium of instruction is English

  Full Time: 
  • Weekday  -  9.00 am to 12.00 noon OR 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm OR 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm

Part Time:

  • Evening Weekday -  7.00 pm to 10.00 pm  OR 
  • Weekend -  9:00 am to 12:00 pm / 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm / 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm


For the safety of our students, we will progressively increase the number of students allowed back to school for in-house person learning (classes/ lectures/labs) with no more than 50 persons including the staffs, lecturers and tutors per day. Classes and lectures with more than 50 persons will continue to be held online. 

For in-person examinations and assessments, only classrooms will be used with no more than 50 persons (including invigilators/ staff). All necessary safe management measurement, including at least 1 metre distancing between individuals ,mask-on at all time. Where practicable, we may consider online assessments and examination. Academic Pathway

Graduate who wish to further their studies in this field may apply for  relevant programme/course offered by other institutions or universities.  Admission is subjected to these institutions or universities entry requirement the point of application. 


Employability

 Graduate of this Advanced Diploma may progress to a higher-level qualification in the field of Event management.  The graduates also may pursue a career in the Event, Hospitality and Tourism sectors in Singapore and overseas. E.g. Event Organiser, Event Planner, Meeting and Convention Planner etc.
