The Diploma (Specialized in Events, Tourism and Hospitality Management) provide necessary knowledge and skills for students with or without experience to understand of the nature of events, tourism, hospitality and products from both local and international perspectives. Students may be selected to undergo on-the-job training of 6 months in an established event or hospitality or tourism establishment in Singapore. Failing which, students will prepare and submit an industry project within 2 months.

Eligibility

 
  • Obtained 2 GCE ‘O’ Levels passes *English and any 1 subject or equivalent; OR
  • Nitec, Higher Nitec or equivalent; OR
  • Completion of GSTM Professional Certificate in English for Tourism and Hospitality Management or Equivalent; OR
  • Matured student:  At least 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experiences will be considered.

 

English Language Requirement: 

  • *A pass in English at GCE ‘O’ Level, or IELTS 4.5 and or equivalent; OR 
  • Completed a prior Diploma or equivalent where the medium of instruction is English

  • Weekday  -  9.00 am to 12.00 noon OR 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm OR 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm

Part Time:

  • Weekday -  7.00 pm to 10.00 pm  OR  
  • Weekend -  9.00 am to 12 noon OR  1.00 pm to  4.00 pm OR 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm


For the safety of our students, we will progressively increase the number of students allowed back to school for in-house person learning (classes/ lectures/labs) with no more than 50 persons including the staffs, lecturers and tutors per day. Classes and lectures with more than 50 persons will continue to be held online. 



For in-person examinations and assessments, only classrooms will be used with no more than 50 persons (including invigilators/ staff). All necessary safe management measurement, including at least 1 metre distancing between individuals ,mask-on at all time. Where practicable, we may consider online assessments and examination.  Graduate of this Diploma will be equipped with the fundamental knowledge which enables them able to pursue a career in the Event, Hospitality and Tourism sectors in Singapore and overseas.   E.g.  Admin Officer, Event Administrator, Assistant Event Planner, Hotel Receptionist, Front Office Attendant, Guest Services Associate, Meeting and Convention Coordinator, Catering Assistant etc.
