Specifically, marine engineering is the discipline of applying engineering sciences, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, and computer science, to the development, design, operation and maintenance of watercraft propulsionand on-board systems and oceanographic technology. It includes but is not limited to power and propulsion plants, machinery, piping, automation and control systems for marine vehicles of any kind, such as surface ships and submarines..

Eligibility

Academic Requirement:
  • 3 GCE 'O' Levels passes English and 2 other subjects and or equivalent; OR
  • Nitec, Higher Nitec or equivalent; OR
  • Matured students: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years relevant working experiences will be considered.

English Requirement:

  •  *A pass in English at GCE O Level or IELTS 5.5 and or equivalent,
  • Completed a prior Diploma where the medium of instruction is English

  • Part Time: Weekday -  7.00 pm to 10.00 pm  OR  Weekend -  6.00 pm to 9.00 pm
