This field first became an identifiable occupatiaon in the latter half of the 19th century after commercialization of the electrictelegraph, the telephone, and electric power distribution and use. Subsequently, broadcasting and recording media made electronics part of daily life. The invention of the transistor, and later the integrated circuit, brought down the cost of electronics to the point they can be used in almost any household object.

Eligibility

  •  3 GCE ‘O’ Levels passes English and 2 other subjects and or equivalent; OR
  •  Nitec, Higher Nitec or equivalent; OR
  •  Matured students: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years relevant working experiences will be considered.

Duration

  • Full Time: 12 months (weekday)
  • Part Time: 8 months (evening weekday / weekend)



Class Mode

  • Full Time:  Weekday  - 10.30 am to 1.30 pm OR 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm 
  • Part Time: Weekday -  7.00 pm to 10.00 pm  OR  Weekend -  6.00 pm to 10.00 pm

Employability

Graduates of this Diploma in will be equipped with foundational knowledge which will enable them able to pursue careers within the respective Industries. E.g. M&E Coordinator, Site Supervisor
